Abstract

Every new academic year, all universities open new student registrations. In these activities, information technology has been used in the process of registration, selection and announcement of new students. By utilizing information technology, prospective new students are easier in the process of filling out registration forms, one of which is by utilizing the internet network that accesses the web pages of each university. However, there are still universities that do not have a hosting server that is managed independently which has an impact on limited access to web data stored on the hosting server. So that the new student registration data found on the internet is stored on the hosting server, the data is downloaded and imported into the intranet system. The problem faced is that downloads made by operators or officers are all data stored on the web and cannot be just new data, and must filter data that has entered the intranet system. In the integration between information systems can be established if different systems work together in providing data that can be accessed by other systems. Using Web Services can help integrate systems over the internet. Web service technology is an infrastructure that can be used for the purpose of integrating data stored on web hosting and intranets. The data resulting from the integration process can be used as a source of data and information to support the next new student admissions selection process. The security mechanisms for web service transactions designed in NuSOAP extend the waiting time for clients to receive a response or
result from the service provider.
