Abstract

Regional musical instruments are a legacy of wealth from culture that spread throughout Indonesia, must be maintained and preserved by the younger generation. The lack of use of technology to preserve regional musical instruments results in lesser known information about regional music by the younger generation. This will be bad if the younger generation starts to leave the culture and information about traditional regional musical instruments, because it will potentially steal Indonesian culture. Efforts in dealing with the problem is made is by utilizing augmented reality technology as a learning medium on traditional javanese musical instruments. The use of augmented reality technology aims to provide a more interactive learning media so that it makes it convenient for users not to get bored quickly. The creation of this application uses the help of Unity software and Vuforia Sdk that can be run on the android platform. The result of the creation of the application is the application of the introduction of traditional javanese gamelan musical instruments using android-based AR has 19 java gamelan 3D objects and in there are quiz questions that use LCM algorithms function for problem randomization techniques, able to be maximally run on android devices 11, RAM 6.00 GB, Mediatek Dimensity 700 5G Processor, applications are also able to run on at least Android Jelly Bean OS, Black box testing results by 3 Informatics lecturers showed that the application went well and got a 100% success percentage, the results of user acceptance test (UAT) by 5 teachers of SDN 1 Muncang and students were in the teacher assessment section of design aspects by 94.40%, information aspects by 94%, and material aspects by 97.33%, the results obtained in student assessment on design aspects by 98.40%,  Information aspect 96%, and material aspect of 99.33%, white box test results show the number of Cyclometic Complexity is 3 paths which means included in algorithms that meet software engineering criteria.
