ANALYSIS OF LANGUAGE ERRORS AT THE LEVEL OF MORPHOLOGY AND PHONOLOGY IN EDITORIAL TEXTS OF CLASS XII STUDENTS OF SMKS MA'ARIF 2 GOMBONG

Language is one of the most important things in life. The existence of language is a medium for humans to communicate, convey thoughts, and connect interactions. In the world of education, language is not a foreign thing. In learning activities, there are certainly many things that require language. In life, language is not only used orally, but also in writing. During writing activities, both officially and unofficially, it is not uncommon to find errors. In this study, researchers analyzed one of the works of XII grade students, at SMKS Ma'arif 2 Gombong. The text analyzed is an editorial text. The research uses qualitative method. The utterances used in this analysis are phonological and morphological utterances. The result of this research is the finding of 20 vocabularies that are not in accordance with the rules. There are 60% or 12 vocabulary words that have writing errors based on morphological speech and experience the same thing, namely found by 60% or 12 vocabulary words that have writing errors based on phonological speech.
