Implementasi Convention On The Rights Of The Child Dalam Aksi Kemanusiaan UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) Pada Perang Ukraina-Rusia 2022

Abstract

This undergraduate thesis contains the humanitarian action of UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) based on the Convention On The Rights Of The Child in the 2022 Ukraine-Russia War. Humanitarian action is the core of UNICEF mandate in realize the rights of every child. In carrying out humanitarian actions for children in Ukraine, UNICEF uses the basic rules of the Convention On The Rights Of The Child (Convention on the Rights of the Child). The convention is the culmination of recognizing of children's rights and unique status as a legally binding obligation.

This study uses a qualitative approach with exploratory research techniques and data collection through secondary data obtained from literature research, in this case books, articles, the internet, and the official website of UNICEF Ukraine are available and can be used as references in this study. In addition, this thesis uses the concept of humanitarian action to explain the research object. The results of this study are UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) has channeled various assistance to improve life-saving programs for children by developing health, water and sanitation, education and protection of children's rights programs.
