Abstract
This study aims to determine how the political communication strategy and personal branding process of Paramitha Widya Kusum through Instagram Social Media according to the Eight laws of personal branding. Using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained using analyzed using Bogdan and Biklen analysis techniques using Peter Montoya's personal branding concept and Harold Lasswel's Communication theory. The results of this study on the @paramithawidyakusuma Instagram account do personal branding in building this political communication. 1). Specialization (The law of specialization) he is young, responsive, and populist. 2). Leadership (The law of leadership) a leader who is close to the people, nurturing, ngayemi, and close to the ulama. In his post he is a figure capable of fulfilling what is the current needs of the community. 3). Personality (The law of personality) has a good relationship with the family, so the relationship built in the community will be well established. 4). Distinction (The law distinctiveness) he is always responsive, creative and populist so that trust grows from the people. 5). Visibility (The law of visibility) looks consistent with pro-people actions, going down to the community to bring aspirational programs to publish their programs on their Instagram account. 6). The law of unity is the figure of a young female politician who is humble, friendly, open, and responsible. 7).
