Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui:(1) kemampuan penalaran matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting berbantuan media Microsoft PowerPoint mencapai target KKM, (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik antara kelas yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting berbantuan media Microsoft PowerPoint dengan peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting tanpa berbantuan media Microsoft PowerPoint, (3) model pembelajaran Probing Prompting berbantuan media Microsoft PowerPoint lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting tanpa berbantuan media Microsoft Power Point terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MTS Al Muawanah Harjawinangun Kecamatan Balapulang Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A, kelas VIII B, dan kelas VIII C. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang melibatkan 94 peserta didik sebagai sampel. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik total quota sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi dan tes. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan penalaran matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitas pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji proporsi satu pihak kanan, one way manova dan uji T2-Hotelling yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji prasyarat terlebih dahulu yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan penalaran matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting berbantuanan media Microsoft PowerPoint telah mencapai target KKM, (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika antara peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting berbantuanan media Microsoft PowerPoint dengan peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting tanpa berbantuan media Microsoft PowerPoint, (3) model pembelajaran Probing Prompting berbantuanan media Microsoft PowerPoint lebih efektif dari pada model pembelajaran Probing Prompting tanpa berbantuanan media Microsoft PowerPoint terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know: (1) the ability of mathematical reasoning and mathematics learning achievement of learners who are taught using learning model of Probing Prompting by using by Microsoft PowerPoint media to reach KKM target, (2) there is difference of mathematical reasoning ability and mathematics learning achievement among class taught using Microsoft PowerPoint's Probing Prompting learning model with learners who are taught using the learning model Probing Prompting without by using Microsoft Power Point by using, (3) learning model of Probing Prompting with Microsoft PowerPoint media is more effectively than the learning model Probing Prompting without by using Microsoft Power Point media to the ability of mathematical reasoning and mathematics learning achievement of learners. The research is conducted at MTS Al Muawanah Harjawinangun Balapulang District Tegal Regency Teaching Year 2016/2017. The population in this study is the students of class VIII A, class VIII B, and class VIII C. This study is an experimental study involving 94 students as a sample. Determination of sample use total quota sampling technique. Technique of collecting data is used method of documentation and test. The research instrument is a test of mathematical reasoning ability and mathematics learning achievement that has been tested for validity and reliability at 5% significance level. Technique of data analysis using test of proportion one right side, one way manova and T2-Hotelling test which previously conducted prerequisite test first that is normality test and homogeneity test. The result of the research shows that: (1) the ability of mathematical reasoning and mathematics learning achievement of learners using learning model of Probing Prompting is using Microsoft PowerPoint media is reached KKM target, (2) there is difference of mathematical reasoning ability and mathematics learning achievement among learners who are by using the learning model Probing Prompting using Microsoft PowerPoint media with learners who are taught using the learning model Probing Prompting without media-assisted Microsoft PowerPoint, (3) learning model Probing Prompting with Microsoft PowerPoint media more effective than the learning model Probing Prompting without the help of Microsoft PowerPoint media against the ability of mathematical reasoning and mathematics learning achievement.
