Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is the low numeracy literacy skills of 3rd-grade students at SD in Pancurendang Village. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model supported by the Jarimatika method in improving students' numeracy literacy skills. The study employs a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through numeracy literacy tests, interviews, and observations, and analyzed using statistical tests. The independent sample t-test results show a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with t value (5.637) > t table (2.042). Additionally, the paired t-test shows a significant improvement in the experimental group before and after the treatment, with t value (9.640) > t table (2.131). Thus, the NHT model supported by Jarimatika is effective in improving students' numeracy literacy skills.
