PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MIND MAPPING BERBASIS CANVA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS IV

Learning in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at the elementary level still faced challenges such as low student motivation and learning outcomes due to the lack of engaging learning media. This condition required the implementation of innovative and interactive learning models. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Canva-based Mind Mapping on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade IPAS students. The research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Islam Ta’allumul Huda, with a total sample of 72 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected through essay tests and analyzed using a Simple Linear Regression Test. The results showed a positive and significant effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Canva-based Mind Mapping on students’ IPAS learning outcomes by 86.4%, while the remaining 14.6% was influenced by other factors outside the studied variables. It was concluded that the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Canva-based Mind Mapping was effective in improving students’ IPAS learning outcomes. The implication is that this model can serve as an innovative and engaging learning strategy aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum.
