ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS SISWA DITINJAU DARI TIPE KEPRIBADIAN DAN GAYA BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI BANTARKAWUNG 04
Abstract
This research aimed to analyze how the characteristics of personality types and learning styles influenced students’ mathematical critical thinking abilities. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including tests, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used a typeof triangulation technique. The results showed that personalitytypes and learning styles affected students’ critical thinking abilities. Introverted students tended to be careful but had difficulties in openly explaining their thinking process, drawing conclusions, and evaluating their answers. On the other hand, extroverted students were more confident and active in answering, but often rushed and were less thorough in understanding questions and drawing conclusions. Fromthelearning style perspective, visual learners understood numbers and symbols well but struggled with verbal explanations. Auditory learners better understood oral instructions but had difficulty with written tasks. Kinesthetic learners were more responsive through physical activity but were weak in reflective and analytical thinking. In general, each personality typeand learning style had its strengths andweaknesses in influencing students’ critical thinking ability.
