PENGEMBANGAN GAME EDUKASI BERBASIS ANDROID MENGGUNAKAN CONSTRUCT 2 DENGAN PENDEKATAN GAME BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI

Low student learning interest remains a barrier to the learning process, especially in materials considered difficult and uninteresting. In the digital era, technology has great potential to support learning, but its utilization in schools is still not optimal. Therefore, innovative learning media are needed that can attract students' attention. One potential solution is the development of an Android-based educational game using Construct 2 with a game-based learning approach. This study aims to develop an Android-based educational game media using Construct 2 to increase learning interest in grade XI students. Media development was carried out using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Validation was carried out by material experts and media experts, while practicality testing involved students as users. In addition, pretests and posttests were conducted to determine the media's effect on student learning interest. The results showed that the developed media obtained a media validation score of 99.6%, material validation of 96%, and practicality test of 85%, which is included in the very good category. In addition, the student interest test results showed that the use of this media can significantly increase student learning interest. Thus, this educational game is deemed suitable for use as an interactive and engaging alternative learning medium. Further research is recommended to test its effectiveness and disseminate it more widely across various educational levels.
