Diaspora Internasional: Studi Kasus Alumni Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah 1 di Universitas Al-Azhar Mesir Tahun 2023

Abstrak

This study discusses the procedures for students from the Al-Hikmah 1 Benda Sirampog Islamic Boarding School who will be in the diaspora or migrate abroad to study at Al-Azhar University, Egypt in 2023. By using primary and secondary data as references and data triangulation as data comparison, a qualitative research methodology is used. The theories used to analyze the problems raised are phenomenology and international migration. Based on the results of the study, students who wish to continue their education at Al-Azhar University must register through the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. Scholarships are also available from PBNU or BAZNAS, depending on the respective entrance exam requirements.
